A City of Two Sides
- The communities in Derry/Londonderry for the majority of the time live in peace, however, those lines that separate the two are very fine and Brexit, a hard border, or a soft border would have potentially devasting consequences for both communities. To make sure Derry/Londonderry does not regress to times of turmoil and violence and for the sake of Ireland and all its occupants a border of any kind must be avoided.
The series enters into the real communities within Derry/Londonderry to highlight the pain and the anger that still exists within. It is a way of highlighting that the suffering has left a lasting impression on this city and, even though a lot of progress has been made in terms of peace, the images depict the divide that still exists through colours, graffiti, slogans, and murals surrounding both the Cityside and Waterside.
